ANCIENT DEVA

The aim of the project was to create hi-end speakers for small and medium sized rooms with poor acoustic adaptation.
Excellent phase coherence could be achieved by series connection and reverse arrangement of the loudspeakers in the enclosure.
The crossover is as simple as possible- first and second order. This configuration places significant demands on the drivers and the quality of the components. We used some of the best capacitors- Mundorf Supreme Silver / Gold/ Oil, coils Mundorf L200, Mundorf Ultra 1% resistor.
To avoid excessive dispersion of high frequencies, a small horn has been used. It helps eliminate unwanted sound reflections and facilitates „gluing” with the low- midrange unit.
The characteristics are enhanced by a passive radiator, which facilitates acoustic adaptation, and largely reduces harmful room resonances. The speaker operates in a a large to low- compression enclosure, which, in combination with the passive resonator, allows to achieve a low frequency response down to 30Hz and the lowest impedance drop of 7 ohms.
The enclosure is made of one of the hardest materials available- oak planks. We minimized enclosure resonance by combining the structure with plywood, reinforcing rebates, and using additional HDF board insulation.
The bass-midrange driver is a 17cm unit made of handmade paper with a damped response above 3 kHz. This allowed only the voice coil to be used as a first-order filter, reasulting in a very realistic reproduction of vocals and instruments.
The tweeter is a classic design with a lightweight 3cm silk diaphragm, aditionally damped with ultra low resonance ferrofluid. This eliminates harmful interference at a crossover frequency. When combined with a super capacitor, a 3D effect and unparallelled musicality can be achieved.
For better adaptation of a room size, two-stage adjustment for both low and high tones is possible.

Front panels are handpainted. Various color options are available. The paints used are of highest quality- most often it is a blend of copper and aluminium. The panels maintain variable reflectivity depending on the lighting. Each design is the original work of a warsaw artist from Pastisz Design.
It is possible to order a classic oak panels as well.

ASHURA II
Ashura II are top-of-the-line speakers.
We managed to combine many conflicting design assumptions, resulting in speakers that perform excellently with both a 4W tube amplifier and a 200W digital amplifier. They are suitable for rooms ranging from 30–100 m². The crossover is designed to maintain excellent phase coherence. Linearity has been subtly adjusted through many hours of listening in various acoustic environments. Additionally, the speakers can be slightly adjusted isophonically using controls located on the back of the drivers.
The two-way crossover is composed of three independent modules placed in the lower chamber of the speaker. The tweeter is equipped with a Mundorf oil capacitor with silver-gold foil, while the bass drivers use toroidal coils. The rest consists of air coils and Miflex capacitors.
The bass drivers are among the best 18cm Scan Speak units in the world—they offer the bass power of larger drivers while maintaining control and speed that those larger units can’t match. The midrange driver is a phenomenally colored unit from the same family, featuring a foam suspension. The tweeter is a carbon-type unit from SB Acoustics, characterized by its flawless reproduction of sibilants and transients.
The enclosure is made from thick MDF and plywood panels. Additionally, it is damped with bitumen mats, significantly reducing coloration in the low-frequency range. The midrange and tweeter drivers are housed in separate modules designed to minimize diffraction effects. This ensures the highest level of audio fidelity and realism in music reproduction.
